Aleigha Parnell

Pre-licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Hi, I’m Aleigha Parnell, a pre-licensed clinical counselor in my final year of graduate school at Arcadia University, where I’m earning my Master’s in Counseling. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Arcadia in 2025 and have lived in the Bucks/Montco area for about six years after growing up in Northeast, PA.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with both children and adults in school and private practice settings. Through my personal and professional experiences, I’ve developed a strong appreciation for the connection between the mind and body and how each person’s journey is unique. I enjoy incorporating movement, yoga, mindfulness, essential oil therapy, and other somatic-based approaches into my work when appropriate.

As a former college student-athlete, I also understand the unique challenges that can come with balancing school, athletics, relationships, and other major life transitions.

I believe therapy isn’t only for when life feels unmanageable. It can also be a space to better understand ourselves, build coping strategies, and feel more grounded when life feels unsteady. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves and find what works best for them.

Specialties & Who I Work With:

My approach is personable, collaborative, and genuine. I believe therapy should be a space where you can be your authentic self, speak openly, and feel comfortable without fear of judgment or holding back. I take a holistic approach that recognizes the connection between the mind and body and may incorporate mindfulness, movement, yoga, and somatic techniques when appropriate. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, in touch with themselves, develop effective coping skills, and navigate life in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to them.
