Professional Counseling Clinical Intern

Hi, I’m Marissa Spacht— a pre-licensed professional counselor currently completing my Master’s in Counseling with a double concentration in Trauma & Child and Family Therapy at Arcadia University. I also hold a Bachelor's in Psychology with a double minor in Studio Art and History.

I’m originally from Lancaster, PA and grew up playing soccer and continued to play in college. I have also been working in childcare for the last 5 years working with young children and adolescents.

My passion for psychology and mental health began in high school and continued to grow throughout my college experience. Working in childcare is where I have developed a strong appreciation for supporting children's emotional, social, and personal growth. As a former student-athlete, I understand the unique pressures that young people face while balancing academics, sports, and other responsibilities. These experiences have given me insight into the mental health challenges and barriers that many children encounter.

I have a love for working with executive dysfunction and helping children see the link between avoidance, anxiety, and organization/task management.
