Hi, I’m Xanthe Jamanis — a pre-licensed professional counselor currently completing my Master’s in Counseling with a trauma concentration at Arcadia University. I also hold a Bachelor's in Sociology with a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies.
I grew up in Lancaster, PA and was a competitive athlete my entire life. My passion for mental health began in high school, when I started to feel the weight of the many changes and uncertainties that come with preparing for college and navigating early adulthood. That experience shaped my desire to support others through transitional periods. As a college level student-athlete, on the softball team, I became especially interested in the mental health needs of athletes and the broader well-being of college students.
I’m particularly drawn to working with teens, adolescents, and young adults. Some of my special interests include: trauma-informed care, identity development, life transitions, and supporting clients in building self-esteem. I strive to create a warm, affirming, and collaborative space where clients feel safe to express themselves and grow.
I support teens, college students, and young adults navigating transitions, identity development, trauma, and self-esteem. I also have a passion for working with student-athletes.
